Founded in 1991, Expobank is one of the oldest banks in Latvia providing retail and corporate banking products and services as well as brokerage services to local and international clients. In 2010 Expobank opened its branch in Cyprus. Since October 18, 2018 AS Expobank Cyprus Branch has terminated the provision of its financial services.
Deposits up to 100,000 EUR are covered by Cyprian deposit guarantee scheme in AS Expobank.
AS Expobank participates in the deposit guarantee scheme of Cyprus which applies to all accounts made by natural persons (domestic and foreign), legal entites (domestic and foreign) and covers up to up to 100,000 EUR per bank per depositor. AS Expobank is a member of Deposit Guarantee Fund for Banks and makes its contributions into it.
