Established in 2000, Basisbank became the first pure direct bank in Denmark and one of the first in the world. Basisbank provided savings products, payment cards, consumer and car loans, trading accounts online. In 2022 Basisbank voluntary surrendered its banking license to the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority.
