Caisse de Garantie du Logement Locatif Social (CGLLS, eng: Guarantee Fund of Social Rental Housing) is a French public financial institution which ensures that regulated loans are granted by Caisse des Dépôts to social landlords in the absence of a guarantee of local authorities. CGLLS also prevents social landlords from financial difficulties and helps them to restore balance.
Caisse de garantie du logement locatif social participates in the deposit guarantee scheme of France. This deposit guarantee scheme applies to all deposit accounts made by natural persons, legal entities and covers up to up to 100,000 EUR per bank per depositor. Caisse de garantie du logement locatif social is a member of Fonds de Garantie des Dépôts et de Résolution (FGDR) and makes its contributions into it.
