AS DNB Banka was a universal bank offering a comprehensive spectrum of retail and corporate banking products and services to private individuals and legal entities. AS DNB Banka provided leasing and asset management solutions via its specialized subsidiaries. In 2017 AS DNB Banka was superseded by Luminor Bank AS, a joint venture of DNB and Nordea. Luminor Bank provides banking products and services to all customer groups with a special focus on small and medium-sized companies, as well as affluent private clients.
In 2018, Luminor Bank AS achieved the position of 2nd largest bank in Latvia with a market share of 22.35%; its total assets dropped by 1.13%.
Additionally, the bank became the 8th profitable bank in relation to its total assets showcasing 0.94% return on assets and 8.30% return on equity in 2018.

Luminor Bank AS participates in the deposit guarantee scheme of Latvia which applies to current accounts, deposit accounts made by natural persons (Latvian and foreign), legal entities (Latvian and foreign) and covers up to up to 100,000 EUR per bank per depositor. Luminor Bank AS is a member of Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) and makes its contributions into it.
