Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości (Bank BPS) S.A. was established in 2002 through a merger of Gospodarczy Bank Południowo-Zachodni SA with five Polish banks. Bank BPS operates as a universal bank, provides its products and services to individuals, private companies, agricultural sector and public sector entities. Bank BPS also provides financial support and coordination of affiliated cooperative banks.

BANK POLSKIEJ SPÓŁDZIELCZOŚCI S.A. is a member of Bank Guarantee Fund (BGF) and makes its contributions into it.
