Banco de Portugal (Bank of Portugal) is the central bank of the Portuguese Republic. Banco de Portugal is part of the Eurosystem, the euro area's monetary authority and actively participates in defining and implemening the euro's monetary policy, with the primary objective of maintaining stable prices.
