Banca Millennium (Romania) was a member of Millennium Group (Portugal) and was operating as a universal bank offering retail, private, business banking products and services to domestic customers. On January 8, 2015 OTP Bank Romania, member of OTP Group, announced that the 100% acquisition of Millennium Bank Romania shares had been concluded, following the payment of EUR 39 million. Legal merger between OTP Bank Romania and Millennium Bank Romania was completed in November 2015.
