Established in 1992, PrivatBank became on of the first private commercial banks in Ukraine. In 2016 PrivatBank was recapitalized and nationalized by the government of Ukraine. PrivatBank operates as a universal bank, offering retail, private, business and corporate banking solutions to individuals, entrepreneurs and companies.
In 2023, JSC CB "PrivatBank" achieved the position of 2nd largest bank in Ukraine with a market share of 18.79%; its total assets grew by 22.99%.
Additionally, the bank became the 5th profitable bank in relation to its total assets showcasing 5.67% return on assets and 53.51% return on equity in 2023.
Deposits up to 200,000 UAH are covered by Ukrainian deposit guarantee scheme in JSC CB "PrivatBank".
JSC CB "PrivatBank" is the 2nd largest bank in Ukraine in terms of total assets. In 2023 its total assets were 735,28 bln UAH, providing the bank with the market share of 18.79%. In 2023 the bank's net income was 37 764,69 mln UAH.
JSC CB "PrivatBank" participates in the deposit guarantee scheme of Ukraine which applies to any credit balance made by individuals and covers up to up to 200,000 UAH per bank per depositor. JSC CB "PrivatBank" is a member of Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) and makes its contributions into it.
