Founded in 1873 in Switzerland, BSI Bank is an international bank specializing in wealth management. In February 2016, EFG International announced its intentions to acquire BSI Bank. In April 2017, the integration of BSI SA’s Swiss business into EFG Bank AG, a 100% subsidiary of EFG International was completed.

BSI SA is a member of esisuisse – Deposit Insurance (ESI) and makes its contributions into it.
